KV PEE WEE AAA HOCKEY (Posted on August 11, 2010)

Registrations are now being accepted for those players born in 1998/99 who are interested in trying out for the two (2) PEE WEE AAA teams this coming season.

Tryouts will begin mid-Sept and pre-registration is required. The complete tryout/selection schedule is currently being finalized and will be distributed once completed.

If interested, please complete this form and mail it or drop it off to...

Lorna Drummond
20 Queensbury Drive
Quispamsis NB
E2E 5B5

The deadline for registration is Sept 3rd, 2010 and registration with KV Minor Hockey is also required.

Any player who plans on trying out should do some sort of off-ice/and or on-ice conditioning in preparation as the tryout/selection process will be brief but intense.

As previously mentioned, there will be two (2) AAA teams playing out of this area this season. Attached is a Hockey New Brunswick (HNB) presentation which will shed some light on the upcoming season. The new development model allows more players to participate at the Pee Wee AAA level and involves less cost and travel than the previous model.

We would also encourage you to attend an information session Sunday, August 15th @ 2:00pm at Simonds High School which will provide additional information on AAA hockey at all levels for the upcoming season. More information can also be found in this presentation.

Use Your Head! (Posted on June 27, 2009)
While KVMHA instituted a mandatory helmet policy for 2008 - 2009, it should be noted that Hockey New Brunswick passed a motion starting with the 2009 - 2010 season that helmets must be worn for all those participating under Hockey New Brunswick, essentially stating that all on-ice participants including instructors, coaches and assistants must wear a CSA approved properly fastened helmet for all sanctioned on-ice sessions, including clinics.

Thank you for your continued support.
